GMC Hospital Fujairah celebrates second anniversary
(Dubai Health & News) GMC Hospital, Fujairah recently
celebrated its second anniversary on 22nd June 2008 announcing the
expansion of a new wing to the 65-bed facility. The ceremony was
attended by Mr. Thumbay Moideen Founder/President, Gulf Medical College
Ajman (GMCA) and Thumbay Group, along with Dean Prof. Gita Ashok Raj and
Red Crescent Officials.
To celebrate the occasion, the hospital has added a new wing offering a
new dental unit, ophthalmology and dermatology units, and 25 out-patient
clinics covering a variety of medical specialties and services to meet
the increasingly growing health needs in Fujairah. The hospital has also
introduced GMC Gold Health Card, which offers cost-saving discounts to
patients receiving treatment at GMC hospitals.
The GMC Hospital, Fujairah is supported by GMC Hospital, Ajman that is
now approximately 250-bed capacity with more than 80 outpatient clinics.
GMC Hospital and Research Center in Ajman serves as the flagship
hospital for Gulf Medical College and is the first private teaching
hospital in the UAE. The hospitals are promoted by the Thumbay Group.
