Women's 3F
Show raises awareness about the prevention and detection of
cervical cancer
(May 5, 2007) -- Over 500 women, including U.A.E based
diplomats, nutritionists, and doctors, attended the second Women's 3F
Show at the Al Bustan Rotana Hotel today. The event was organized by
Health & Nutrition Magazine, and under the patronage of the
Ministry of Health (MOH), represented by H.E Dr. Mariam Matar,
Assistant Undersecretary of Preventive Medicine in the Ministry
of Health (MOH) for Public Health and Primary Health Care (PHC),

Novartis Oncology hosts breast cancer summit
in Amman (April 15, 2007) --
The First Levant Breast Cancer Summit with over 100 oncologists coming from Jordan, Lebanon, Syria, Palestine, and Iraq was recently held in Amman, Jordan and organized by Novartis Oncology.

students attend cervical cancer awareness seminar
(March
25, 2007) -- Over 150 Health Education &
Health Science Foundation students at Sharjah College (SWC), part of the
Higher Colleges of Technology (HCT), attended a 2 hour Seminar on
cervical cancer prevention. The Seminar was headed by Dr. Rihab Awad,
Consultant Gynecologist at The American Hospital Dubai and is part of an
Annual World Health Day initiative by students and faculty of the

charity event to raise funds for the King Hussein Cancer Foundation--

King Hussein Cancer Foundation will be the focus of a major
fundraising effort to be held at the Grand Hyatt in Dubai on 21
November 2006. The Gala Dinner will be under the patronage and
in the presence of HRH Princess Haya Bint Al Hussein, Wife of HH
Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime
